I know I've been slacking with the blog post but ima try and improve that....

So a 2 weeks ago I got an email from a Celebrity Makeup Artist to join her on a shoot. I was going to have to decline because i had a shoot already schedule the same time. Was a little sad but had to let my "Yes mean Yes". Well i was happy when my original shoot got reschedule to another day. So i called the MUA up to get More info on the looks, model,photographer, etc. Once i got all info i was all set!

So i get to set and meet Nordia (Mua) outside and she was such a sweet heart! We chit chat a little bit before heading up to the studio. Once we got inside i met the photographer, Maicol Diaz of Unique Photography and Design. I reconginzed his face and said "HEY! we're friends on FB!" immediatley after i said that i thought to myself 'WOW! thats some real stalker ish NISHA! lol' Well he just smiled and said "oh ok, cool" (yeaaaaa there was an awkward moment there...

Any who they shoot turn out great everybody was real cool and i had fun working with everyone and just doing what I love :) so hear are some BTS of the shoot.....

Oh btw just in case your wondering, me and Maicol are STILL friends on FB...Yeeeaaaa i would've totally deleted my stalker butt if i was him (lol) but he didn't so THANKS Maicol LOL!!

So I am starting to miss working at a salon. I think what i
really missing is the different training i would get. hmmmm i may go back......

So last weekend we had our very first meeting and what better way than to end a meeting with a shoot!!!

...got a lil teary eye...

So last week Sasha, Ms. Kippish gave me a call because she needed a hair stylist to cut and style a young girl. Assuming it was for Prom or Graduation, I said sure! but this wasn't an ordinary hairstyling. The young girl, Belmis, was graduating from 8th grade. She is an aspiring designer just like Ms.Kippish but needed a push of confidence. So Ms. Kippish got Krystal Taylor (MUA) and I together to give Belmis a makeover. It was a great fun fill day! we laugh, joked around, and gave Belmis some tips on how to survive high school. At the end of the day the motto was 'Do what you want to do for YOU'.


So as we said our 'good-byes' it was a little bitter sweet for me because I was excited for her to walk into school the next day with her new look but yet I was lil scared for her when she starts high school.


Later that nite I was still with the girls and Ms.kippish gets a texts from her mentor who came with her that Belmis was so happy that she cried the whole way home and when her mom saw her cried too. OMG I got so teary eyed when MsKippish told me that. I was so happy!!! THIS is the reason I love doing the hair! 


Because this was such a GREAT feeling me and the girls are planning to do this again (maybe once every month) so stay tune guys :o)

Did a shoot with Maks  with the lovely models kallie keith from Front and Jennifer Alvarez. MUA Marcos B and Stylist Romi Sergi. I had fun shooting with everyone!
